VFX & ANIMATION PRODUCTION COORDINATOR CLASS

Fast track your career as a VFX & Animation Production Coordinator or Assistant, guided by industry pros from major film and TV projects!

Our 7-week course is designed to cater to newcomers, and VFX / animation production assistants. It's tailored to align with the standards of renowned global studios, equipping you with job-focused, industry-relevant skills necessary for production assistant or production coordinator roles on feature films, television, and commercials. You will acquire skills that are applicable across both animation and VFX studio environments.

During the course, you will have access to comprehensive online modules and also actively engage in twice-weekly live online workshops and guest Q&A's led by industry experts experienced in major film and TV productions. Our class sizes are kept small for more personalized attention and hands-on learning (max. 10 students).

The course focuses on developing practical skills in foundational areas like tracking, delivery, review and reporting processes, while also advancing into higher-level tasks such as scheduling. You will receive hands-on training with industry-standard project management tools like Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid), emphasizing real-world applications to prepare you for industry challenges.

Bree has a wealth of expertise in the television and feature film industry, as well as a successful career in lecturing.

Bree has a strong background in production management and supervision. She has contributed to a wide array of films and television shows including "Scary Girl", "Tales from Sanctuary City", Disney's "Minnie Mouse Bowtique", "LEGO Star Wars", "The LEGO Movie", "Walking with Dinosaurs 3D", "Legend of the Guardians" and "FARMkids", among others!

Bree currently serves on the advisory committee for RMIT, an international university renowned for technology and design, where she provides guidance on industry needs and trends. She collaborates with a select group of top industry professionals from leading studios. Her vast teaching experience at renowned institutions has equipped her in instructing and training students in animation production.

Jenniefer dreamt of working in the movie industry from an early age, studying performance arts since age 13, and obtaining her BA Degree in Dramatic Arts from the Kogan Academy of Dramatic Arts in London in 2016.

Her career in the VFX industry started with ILP as a Production Assistant in 2019, quickly developing into Production Coordinator for tv-series and feature films such as The Sandman, Mandalorian S3, Hunger Games: Balad of Songbirds and Snakes, and more.

She started as Production Manager in early 2023, where she maintains client communication, manages the in-house team, as well as setting up and maintaining schedules and administrative needs

As a Feature Production Manager at Laika, Spriha oversees the VFX Department. Her journey in the world of animation and visual effects began after completing a Production Management course at Gobelins, Paris.

She embarked on her career at Dreamworks, where she immersed herself in exciting projects like Kung Fu Panda and Trolls for three years.

Seeking new horizons, she ventured to Melbourne in early 2017 to delve into the realm of VFX at Iloura, which later transitioned into Method Studios. VFX gave her the opportunity to learn and grow.

After dedicating seven years to the intricacies of visual effects, she took a hiatus to reflect on her career path and it was during this time that Spriha found this role at Laika, a studio that seamlessly blends stop motion animation and VFX. Joining Laika felt like the perfect fusion of her passions, propelling her into a world where creativity knows no bounds.

She then joined Like A Photon Creative in 2021 as a Line Producer and Producer.

In her spare time, she enjoys listening to music and teaching her daughters about music from the “olden days”.

Emily is currently a senior coordinator at Animal Logic, where she has contributed to several feature films, including the latest Adam Sandler-led Netflix animated film, "Leo."

In 2020, Emily worked at Cutting Edge as a post coordinator. Here, she managed schedules and media operations for TV shows such as "Amazing Race Australia," "Home and Away," "Lego Monkey Kid," and "SAS Australia."

She started her career as a production manager at Pixel Zoo Studios. Her work involved collaborating with prominent brands like Mattel, MGA, Moonbug Entertainment, and Moose Toys on a diverse range of projects, including advertisements, TV series, movies, and music videos.
